Perdomo Reserve 10th Anniversary Criollo Robusto Cigar Review

Perdomo Reserve 10th Anniversary Criollo Robusto Cigar Review This 5×54 stick features a very dark tan, soft oily wrapper with minimal veins, tight invisible seams, double cap and soft tobacco and hayaroma. First light reveals a very snug draw but good smoke output. Body is medium-full with a smooth aged tobacco draw flavor that brings in a big oily pepper blast through the finish. The first third burns very slowly with the same snug draw and excellent smoke output. Body remains high with very smooth creamy tobacco and pepper on the draw moving to a pepper and spice through the short finish. 40 minutes in just starting the 2nd third, a bit of sweetness joins the draw flavors, everything else is identical flavor wise. The draw has slowly opened up a touch, still snug but burning very well. Ending at 1:30 the last third showed no further changes. Thank you very much to Nick erA aka User ‘X3′ for sending this in for review, I really appreciate it! Macanudo Cru Royale Robusto Cigar Review

Macanudo Cru Royale Robusto Cigar Review This 5×50 cigar features a very dark chocolate wrapper with a slight red hue, oily firm feel, hard pack with a couple soft spots, small veins, ragged seams with some imperfections, double cap and a rich chocolate and barnyard aroma. First light reveals a very smokey foot smoke, medium body flavors of a deep oily earth, slightly bitter with a short finish. The first third brings failry unique flavors out with a bread, slightly sweet meat and a bit of a twang that all very quickly fades to the short clean finish. Smoke isn’t especially thick or rich but there is plenty of it and the draw is perfect with an almost razor sharp burn. 30 minutes in at the 1/2 way point flavors shift just slightly bringing the sweetness up a notch with an almost licorice flavor but not very distinct. Ending at 1 hour with an inch remaining where it got too hot for my taste, the remainder of the stick showed no further changes. Construction has been perfect all the way down.
