CLOSE, but NO CIGAR! …… May 28, 2009 / Meadowlands Racetrack / in Kenny’s Honor #7
Standardberd phenomena IN KENNY’S HONOR, named after the valiant and so very much loved Kenny Benkovic Jr., attempts to thread a needle late in the stretch, all in an effort to WIN at the Meadowlands Racetrack on Thursday, May 28, 2009 as a 22-1 longshot! Unfortunately, In Kenny’s Honor came up just a nose shy of taking it all. The late Kenny Bekkovic Jr. would have been so very proud of his effort!
Kenny would have deffinently been pround of him
Brittany, I literally just finished uploading this video and POOF… there was your heartwarming comment almost as if on cue!
You are unbelievably beautiful in every sense of the word and I can only continue to “thank you” for your exceptionally warm heart and your (oh, so very kind) comments.
my 49th birthday-Nice race!!!
Happy birthday, Steve! Always a prompt and courteous comment from a fine horseman himself. Thank you!
Strong race Scott, good time too for a fairly slow 1st quarter…., if he gets carried a little and and has an easier trip, he should win in 51 & a tick soon….!!! Best regards, Trade.
Coming from you Trade, I am truly honored! Thanks so much!!!
Wow, great race Scott…
Thank you, Debbie. You just made my day!
Well deserved Scott..
You really know how to make a horseman feel good, don’t you? Thanks so much!

Pierce stiffed that horse. Nice job, you crook.
That was pretty exciting to watch, Scott! In Kenny’s Honor tried his best, just a bit too late indeed but still was an awesome move.
Still THUMBS UP for this Fantastic video! =)
This horse just can not pass. He had dead aim the other night. The BIG m is so, tough.
I have to wonder how LOU PENA can go from being a CAL EXPO SCRUB to being the KING OF THE BIG M?
